Rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian war veterans through sports
War changes lives. Sport helps rebuild them.
Veterans Dozen Foundation supports wounded Ukrainian veterans on their path back to strength, confidence, and community.
We help veterans recover physically and mentally through sport, teamwork, and international competitions.
About the foundation
Veterans Dozen Foundation (V10) is a Ukrainian charity supporting the rehabilitation of severely wounded war veterans through sports.
While the foundation was registered in 2019, the work began even earlier. Since 2016, the founders have been identifying, training, and supporting veterans — including amputees and those who lost their sight — to participate in international running events across Ukraine, the United States, and Europe.
Since the full-scale war began in 2022, the foundation has focused primarily on helping actively serving wounded soldiers recover and rebuild their lives.
Each year, up to 50 amputee veterans complete rehabilitation programs supported by the foundation — using sport as a path to strength, confidence, and a return to life.
